The Institute provides information, materials, workshops, expertise, personal/professional health development programs and current research which are customized to meet the needs of women-especially women of African descent.

African American women often have very strong friendships and usually function well inside both family and social groups. Therefore, a potentially effective intervention is for women to make lifestyle changes with Prime Time sisters and within Prime Time sister circles.
